Position Overview
As a Bowlista, you are the heart of the Fit Bowl Co. team. This entry-level role is responsible for preparing menu items, ensuring food safety, and maintaining cleanliness standards while delivering an excellent customer experience. Bowlistas work closely with teammates and leadership to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare smoothies, açaí bowls, and espresso drinks to company standards.
Handle fresh fruit and ingredients with proper food safety practices.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep areas, equipment, and the store.
Support teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
Provide friendly, engaging customer service.
Complete assigned side work (restocking, labeling, cleaning).
Follow direction from Shift Leads and Managers to meet daily operational needs.

Assistant General Manager
(Full-Time)

Position Overview
The Assistant Manager plays a critical leadership role in supporting daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, customer service, and product quality. This role requires excellent organizational and leadership skills to oversee both in-store operations and staff development while working closely with the General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Training
Lead by example with a positive, professional, and energetic approach.
Train and retrain new and existing staff; conduct new hire orientations and ongoing development sessions.
Coach team members in the moment to build skill sets and reinforce company standards.
Provide performance feedback and help maintain a positive workplace culture.
Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operations including food production, safety, sanitation, and service quality.
Ensure proper food handling, preparation, and cleanliness across all areas of the store.
Monitor product quality and provide direct quality control oversight.
Communicate operational updates and team feedback to the General Manager and/or Owner.
Product & Inventory Oversight
Monitor and maintain inventory of all products including dry goods, fresh ingredients, and prepared items.
Place and track new orders; maintain existing inventory quality and proper storage.
Oversee product management (ordering, expiration dates, and PAR levels).
Coordinate and delegate product prep and production needs with the Production Prep team.
Team & Customer Experience
Support, coach, and lead the Bowlista team to deliver excellent customer service.
Assist with on-site and off-site catering and events.
Handle/Delegate side work including stickering cups/bowls and preparation of house-made items (e.g., nut butters).
Participate in detailed cleanings and ensure the highest standards of store cleanliness.
HR & Hiring Support
Review applications, conduct interviews, and assist with hiring decisions.
Lead onboarding and orientation for new employees.
Support scheduling and staffing needs as directed by the General Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
1+ year of leadership or assistant management experience in food service, coffee shop, or hospitality preferred.
Strong knife, cutting, and chopping skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to train, coach, and motivate staff.
Quick learner with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Organized, dependable, and attentive to detail.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and high culinary standards.
